Work of the Sarawak Water Supply Grid Program – Stressed Areas includes the Proposed Digitalisation of Water Supply in JBALB Sarawak, focusing on the implementation of a Smart Water Supply System. This initiative covers the supply, construction, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of advanced digital solutions to improve water treatment and distribution efficiency. The project will be implemented across key stressed areas such as in Kapit, Miri, Lawas, Saratok, Serian, Tapah, and Sri Aman, enabling real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and enhanced operational control. Through digitalisation, JBALB Sarawak aims to ensure reliable and sustainable access to clean water for communities, particularly in rural and critical zones.
